These were based on global sea-ice concentration data records produced in EUMETSAT OSISAF: OSI-409 and OSI-409-a, as well as OSI-430 \u2013 a NRT product that complemented OSI-409 and OSI-409-a. These data records give daily average fractional ice cover as percentage and are based on passive microwave radiometer satellite data.
